Hurd Driving School was first established in 1969 and it has been a locally run family business since.

We are professional and friendly, hard working fully qualified instructors who are dedicated to ensuring you pass your driving test.

We are based in Witham, Essex and cover the surrounding areas. Tests are carried out at the Chelmsford test centre where we have a great understanding of the local area, so you can learn to drive with confidence.

At Hurd Driving School we are keen to use Ford cars such as Fiestas as they are not too small or big. We find our pupils find it easier to learn to drive in these vehicles. All vehicles have the latest safety technology including air con for those hot days!

All cars are fully insured with dual controls.

Tuition is carried out on a one to one basis with female instructors who are CRB certified. We are also members of the – Driving Instructors Club Essex (DICE)
